The discussion on "Fake" people or emotions captured
my interest, as like many of you expressed, I don't believe
it when someone comes across as being so happy. No.
Not for a minute.
And, I do resent this "holier than thou" smugness that
seems to drip from their fake smiles and accounts of
their happy families and life. Not so. You can't fool me.
As an HSP, I'm wired into people's truth and emotions
and can usually detect a phony-baloney when I meet one.
No one is always happy. No one is devoid of problems.
And to pretend to be so is just that: pretense.
As HSP's we can usually ferret this out and we know.
Pure and simple. We just know.
